Unable to get fine resolution on Reader when zooming in Win 8

I have service manuals that are saved as PDF's. When I zoom in to get the fine details of these wire diagrams the screen doesn't automatically enhance so I can read them. Is this a Reader problem or a device problem? Any solution to offer? I've attached a screenshot of what I'm talking about. Thanks!

It is neither a reader or device problem. It is the resolution of the PDF document you are viewing is low.
