Question

Unable to open and print PDF files

I am running Windows 7 OS and Acrobat Reader DC ver 15.020.20039. When I go to open a PDF file, nothing happens.

When I attempt to print the pdf file nothing happens or I get a black screen. I have attempted to "fix" the Acrobat Reader by uninstalling and downloading to no effect. I am not getting any error messages.

I have exhausted the FAQ/Forum suggestions thus far. I'm open to suggestions.

Thank you,

Kentcoee

Does this happen with all files, or just that one? If only that one then it's most likely corrupt.

Pretty much all files. I say that because I was able to print a PDF file this morning. I thought the MS Upgrades installed last night might have fixed it. But when I tried to print other PDF files and the one I successfully printed this morning, they would not print.

After uninstalling Reader, try running this tool on your computer and then reinstall the latest version: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
