unable to open files

Hi

I keep getting the message 'there was an erro opening this document. the file cannot be accessed by the system.

adobe will open old pdf docs however not new ones. i have reinstalled adobe and made it my default program for pdf, but it will not open the files.

Could you please confirm if you are open the PDF saved locally or on a network drive?

Do you get the error when opening any new PDF? Share the screenshot of the error message.
