Unable to Open fillable PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader on iPhone and iPad

Hello,

I am attempting to open a fillable pdf on an iphone and iPad using Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF downloaded from the app store.

when i attempt to open the pdf it says "This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for Mac or Windows".

Does anyone know of a way to open a fillable pdf on an iPhone or ipad when this message is given?  Thank you
