My computer has frozen twice when reading an Adobe PDF file. Though I have restarted my computer I am now unable to open any Adobe PDF files. Every time I click on it, the computer prompts me: "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" Regardless of whether I click yes or no, I am unable to open an Adobe file.

What is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Is it a Mac or Windows machine and what is the version of OS installed?

If Adobe Reader is still freezing after installing updates, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
