Unable to print from Internet Explorer using the Adobe Add on

Hello,

 

I am unable to print from IE using the Adobe Add on. The issue started 2 weeks ago.

I can view documents just fine in IE, but when I select print (or click Crtl P), nothing happens. This only happens when using the Adobe add on. I can print webpages and other things from IE without an issue. 

Viewing and printing using the Adobe Reader application works without an issue.

I've already reset my Internet Explorer browser and reinstalled Adobe Reader DC, but the issue persists.

From my point of view this is a bug in the Acrobat Reader add on.

It started with Windows 10 2004 release.

On PC's running older Windows 10 releases printing works without problems.

 

There was a long discussion about the same problem here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/problem-with-print-function-after-windows-10-update-2004/td-p/11165512?page=1

But this thread is locked now and I can't see a solution (other than disabling the secure mode which I do not want).
