Unable to Save File in Acrobat

What changed? Whenever I open a PDF, the option to save the document is grayed out.

This is happening all the time now and many others in my company are complaining. (Fortune 5 company).

This is getting a lot of calls to our internal help desk.

 

Is there a bug in Acrobat that is causing the Save or Save As option to be unavailable?
