Unable to Search for Words in a PDF Converted from MS Word Document

Question

I have a final document that was prepared in Microsoft Word using a client's required style palette and set of fonts. I am required to use TwCenClassMTStd and DaxCompact fonts but I think this is causing an issue when I convert the Word document to a PDF. None of the words in the PDF are searchable using Ctrl + F or other search functions. Words in a line or in a paragraph are grouped together as images (see screenshot example attached). I need to keep the fonts listed and the client needs the PDF to be searchable. Does anyone have experience with this to offer a solution? Thanks in advance

Hello, we were able to figure out the issue on our end. After converting the Word document to a PDF, the text was not searchable therefore we searched for the "Recognize Text" tool and ran that feature but when doing so we'd get an error that read "Acrobat could not replace the current page with the new recognized page because of the following error: Bad parameter This could be due to either a low memory situation or low disk space." We then found that if we created a new Word document with a simple line of text and converted that to a PDF then combined that PDF at the end of the original PDF and reran the "Recognize Text" tool that the issue was resolved.
