Unable to see comments

I added some comments on a pdf on the Adobe Acrobat Reader app on my laptop. 

After a couple of days, my laptop shut down, and I had to restart it.

Now when I reopened the same file, those comments are not there.

I do not know what to do. They were really important. 

Can someone help me?
