Unable to see my original comments and customer's response comments on PDF

I posted comments on a PDF to send to my customer for review. They responded to my original comments and sent back, but I am unable to see any comments and nothing shows in the comments section when I click on the sticky notes. Could she have saved this unknowingly with some sort of permissions setting? I've tried to troubleshoot on my end, but I feel like this may be on their end. Any suggestions for me, or what to tell my customer?
