unable to use digital signature certificate token in adobe

I have macbook pro and successfully installed adobe acrobat reader dc. Now i have a digital dignature certificate token issued by proxkey data and epass2003 auto. when i plug in my token to my macbook and then try to sign my pdf document by clicking on sign by digital certificate i am unable to see the token that i attached to my macbook pro. Please help
