Question

Unable to use e-signature - box keeps shutting down

When I try to use e-signature service the box keeps closing half way through typing an e-mail, when I do manage to type it and it allows me to select where to place the signature, it just freezes and pops back up asking to type recipient details in again. I have tried on different PDFs this functions keeps faltering.

Any suggestions on this please would be very welcome!

Thanks,

Katherine

@katherine_0614 e-signatures isn't available for the free acrobat Reader. If you are trying to type an email address to send a document for someone else to sign, is the "Request e-Signature" service. This feature is part of the paid subscription to Acrobat Standard or Pro (or a feature with usage limits in the free version).

Hi katherine_0614,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

We see that you have an Acrobat Sign individual service plan. Please try sending the document using the Acrobat online account and see if you still experience issues. Open the Acrobat online account and sign in using your Adobe ID.

If that works fine, we suggest reinstalling the desktop application using the steps suggested below:

-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/49vYCQf).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/48aXlMb.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
