Unusual Error Messages

Question

Hi GuysI have been using Acrobat Reader without problems. I am now getting error message shown below. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no difference. The first message is when I try and run it directly, the other is when I click on a file to open it. I use Acrobat reader continuosly and within my printer scanner and other programs. I am concerned about using the cleaner tool. Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you

Sorry for the delay in response.

As the application is not loading, please try once to remove the application using the cleaner tool (https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html) and reboot the machine.

Try installing the application from this link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Check if that makes any difference.

If you still receive the error message when trying to load the application, would you mind sharing some details to further investigate this issue?

- What is the application and OS version installed on the machine?

- Are you using any security software/ antivirus on the machine?

- Share the logs collected via the Acrobat and Reader Process Monitor tool (https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatmonitor.html)

- Share the installer logs. You can find installer logs from the following location on Windows: \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers
