I just updated the adobe reader to 11 for windows 10 and the acrobat shortcut was listed on my alphabetical listing and I attempted to update it but the response is that there is a problem connecting with the server and to try again - which doesn't work.  the adobe reader and acrobat came with the laptop

and windows 7.

    Hi Natalieburl,

Please refer to the link below and see if it works:

Fix Windows errors that occur during Acrobat Reader update

Let me know if you still face the issue.

    Thanks,

Before I install I was checking to see where the program was located and there are 2 locations - Common Files> Program files (x86) > Adobe which has Acrobat 7/6/16 ARM 7/20/2010 HelpCfg 1/10/17 and Reader 7/6/2016 and then

ProgramFiles (x86)> Adobe which has Acrobat 7/20/201, Flash Player 12/6/2016 and Reader 11.0 1/10/17

I just have the free reader and acrobat (assuming that it is free as well).  So the Adobe Reader XI version 11.0.19 shows 1/15/2017 and the Acrobat.com shows 7/20/2010.  I do not have a DVD or known serial # since it came with the computer just like the Adobe Reader.

Do I have to uninstall both - or just the Acrobat and then how can I bring it back (it appears that it is now part of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? Is that right?
