    1. Get the version you currently have, a 3 part number like 2013.645.65667

    2. Check the latest released update, or tell us.

I went to my Adobe DC Program, and found the Tab for "Check for Updates". I clicked on it and it showed that I had version 15.023.20070 installed, and that there were "No Updates Available".

What prompted me to ask this question in the first place was that for the past week or two, I have been getting sporadic messages in a box that notes something like "Adobe DC Plug-in Missing. Need to Add this". My suspect was that this was some kind of phishing or scam, since over the many years that I have had Adobe Reader and Flash Player, I have always received messages from Adobe noting that Updates were available, and I would do so as they fit my schedule. This message about the "Plug-in" did not seem to fit the "normal" Adobe notice format.

    Can you confirm this ?

    Thanks,

    Bob

That seems to be current. Could be phishing, or it could be a confused web site, for example Chrome and Firefox can't use the Reader plug-in; some sites do checks in strange and unreliable ways.
