Updating or Uninstalling Adobe Flash Player in Windows 10

Hi, How do I update or completely Uninstall Adobe Flash Player in Windows 10 ? The Update options in Flash Player Control Panel Settings Manager are greyed-out and wont allow me to select. It is already marked to notify me. Is that sufficient. Also the options for NPAPI & PPAPI plug ins are not installed and are also greyed-out. I use either Edge and Firefox browsers. I can only disable Flash Player in Edge settings, but I don't see Flash Player listed  in the regular Control Panel Programs to be able to Uninstall it which I rather do since Flash has frequent Vulnerabilities. Does Edge require Flash Player ? Thanks.

We don't know much about Flash Player here in the Acrobat Reader forums, but I do know that

    1. Edge has an integrated copy of Flash, just for itself. This is part of Edge and Edge is part of the system, so there is no uninstall. You can disable it, however, and apparently with the latest Windows 10 update it is disabled by default.

    2. FireFox needs the NPAPI Flash plug-in (in fact, it's almost the only NPAPI plug-in still able to run)
