Uploading resume pdf to employer's website issue

I'm attempting to upload a resume in pdf format to an employer's website. Instead of uploading the specified pdf file, my entire "downloads" file was uploaded. Luckily I double checked the uploaded pdf file before I submiited the resume. I tried creating a file for the pdf on my desk top and uploading it, but the same thing happened again. Please advise!!! Thank you.

    right; my entire My Downloads FOLDER is uploading. When uploading the pdf,

    I click on the individual pdf file, by name, within my downloads folder.

    The name of the correct individual pdf file appears on the website

    correctly. I double click on the uploaded file, just to make sure, and my

    entire "My Downloads" folder appears on the employer's website. It looks

    exactly like it does in my computer - exactly.

    I'm not comfortable taking screen shots or uploading anything to a public

    site.

    You must save the file to the "My Downloads" folder. Then you can open it with Acrobat Reader.

    This has nothing to do with Adobe.

    You are somehow Selecting all your files for Upload. Or you are selecting the FOLDER the file is in and not just the file.

    nope, I'm selecting the correct pdf actual file, by it's name, and clicking on it. It uploads to the specified website, and the correct file appears as an attachment on the website.  But when I open the file that was just uploaded on the website, my entire download file is there. Aaacck

    What do you mean by "My Entire Download File"? Do you mean your entire Downloads FOLDER is there?

    Please show some screen shots of what you are seeing.

    Also if you can please post this PDF file to someplace like Drop Box or Google Drive and post a public link to it so we can download it and and look at it.
