User Cannot Add Text, Draw or Highlight Without Subscription

Grand Day!

We have a strange issue with the free Adobe Reader DC where one user cannot use the Add Text, Draw or Highlight features available in the free version without it asking for her to sign-up for a subscription.

 

All other users are able to use these features without any subscription at all.

 

All users are on Windows 10, so there's no difference between any of them.

 

How can I enable these features for the one user?

Ah-Ha! I found out what is going on with this, so problem solved...

 

The users who had the Add Text, Draw and Highlight features don't even have the free Adobe Reader DC installed. The .PDFs are opening up with Microsoft Edge and that has all of these features.

 

The other users had the free Adobe Reader DC installed, which doesn't have these features.

 

So, if they just right click on any .PDF and choose "Open with..." from the drop down menu and choose Microsoft Edge instead of opening with Reader DC -Voilà! There ya go - additional features...
