Using OS Sierra can't print mixed size letter and legal - won't pull from MP tray

I've contacted both Apple and Okidata but neither can help figure out why I can't print mixed size documents. Settings all look correct but no matter which options I choose it will not pull paper from the MP tray. I have the "choose paper by pdf size" checked. Super frustrated.
