Using Read Aloud in Abobe Reader to check reading order
With accessibility becoming more important, my institution is expecting faculty to create accessible documents for their students to comply with legal requirements. While I do have a DC Pro license, most do not. Many often convert Word documents that have been checked using Word's built-in tool into PDFs. One of the three common errors that do show up in a full check using Pro is the reading order, one that requires a manual check. For those who do not have access to Pro, is the Read Aloud feature a reliable check? From what I've seen in documents that I have created, it appears to be so, but I would appreciate feedback from someone who is more expert in accessibility than I am.
