Question
Using Reader DC to sign Bill of Lading Documents
We are investigating using Adobe Reader DC to sign BOLs on our loading dock. I have stepped through the steps to Sign a pdf and would need to simplify the process. We will be running Windows 10 tablets.
- Can we call adobe reader from a command line and go directly to the signature pane where the driver will then sign, date, and enter the number of cartons being picked up.
- Once the driver has clicked "Apply", can the program then be directed to:
- Place the signature in a specific place on the document.
- Save the document.
- Print the document to the default printer associated with that tablet.
