Hi Everyone,

Just wondering why the latest version available for download of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for Mac from  Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions  is outdated.

The version available for download is Version 2017.012.20093, but when I manually check for updates in the application itself I get updated to 2017.012.20098.

Can anyone please advise?

Normally the installer is never the most recent version. Everything after the initial version are all patches instead of full installers.

If you try and download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC from Adobe's webpage -- https://get.adobe.com/reader/ the version available for download is 2017.012.20093.

If you open your currently installed version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and manually check for updates, the application will update to version 2017.012.20098.

Which means the installer available for download from the web is outdated.
