View PDF video file on mobile

Hi everyone,

I added a video file to an InDesign file, then exported it as an interactive PDF.

The video works on desktop but does not work on mobile.

Why is that?

Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application does not support any embedded video or multimedia in PDF.

Does this apply to all mobile devices (iPads etc..)

Yes, This applies to all mobile devices.

You will not be able to play embedded video on Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application.
