Watermark boldness setting

Currently have an issue where 2 instances of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC are showing watermarks differently.  1 Shows the watermark as a feint watermark as expected and the other instance is showing it as dark letters which is obscuring the content of the document..

Both versions of Reader DC are 2017.012.20098. Is there a setting in Reader which dictates watermark strength ? Any help would be appreciated.

    Make sure the values under Edit - Preferences - Page Display are the same on both machines.
