Hi Sigorta,

Each browser has its own settings to control how PDFs open from a web page. Acrobat and Acrobat Reader do not include a preference setting to open web-based PDFs. Could you please confirm the web browser you are working with?

  • If its is Chrome, then Chrome has its own PDF viewer on web. It has its own mechanism to open PDFs, on which Adobe doesn't have any hold on.
  • Check with other web browser and see if it gives the same result.
  • For other web browsers, to change the display behavior, follow the instructions below for your browser, or see the browser documentation on how to control plug-ins or add-ons. Display PDF in browser Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat Reader

Regards,

Akanchha

I wonder if the situation in all browsers doesn't seem the same as you?

Thank you for your interest.
