Website will not recognize Adobe is installed

this is the error message a website for my job keeps popping up.  i have downloaded the updated version of acrobat reader and restarted the computer, uninstalled the version and reinstalled and restarted the computer.  I feel that i'm out of options that i know of.

    Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As Aandi correctly mentioned that try using a different browser.

    Please refer to the following KB doc which lists Acrobat PDF-capable web browsers and PDFMaker-compatible applications for all localized versions of the Adobe Reader DC and Acrobat 2017 Web browsers and PDFMaker applications compatible with Acrobat and Reader

    Try using Internet Explorer if you are using a different browser (instead of Chrome, FireFox or Edge)
