Weird one

Morning all. I have a problem opening certain pdfs from chrome. I will try to be concise

Many websites such as restaurants that have pdfs embedded work fine but If i try to open a statement from my bank or phone company it downloads it but seems to also try to open it at the same time. This results in multiple episodes of Dc reader being open in task manager although none actually show on screen.

I have to clear all of TM and restart chrome before i can open reader directly

This worked fine until recently. I have tried compatibility mode and it is still same. Reset all chrome settings to default and reinstalled reader.
