Question

What does this mean?

Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open [at attachment to an email to me] because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

Was this the sender's error or mine or neither?

    Hi Judyh95223703,

Sorry for the delay in response to your query.

Generally the message appears when the pdf attachment that you are trying to open was not actually a PDF file. It was actually created in a different format using some other software and then converted as PDF.

For detail description you may go through the help document Resolve damaged document error when opening PDF files

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Akanchha
