What's the most up-to-date version?

I went to https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/otherversions/, and then I selected "Windows 7" > "English (UK)", and then it gave me 3 different versions from which to choose to download. I Googled it as best I could, but I still can't figure out what the differences are between between them. The 3 versions are:

  • Reader DC 2015.008.20082 English UK for Windows
  • Reader 11.0.10 English UK for Windows
  • Reader 10.1.4 English UK for Windows

I could figure out that the Reader 11.0.10 was obviously just a newer version of Reader 10.1.4. However, what's the difference between Reader DC and Reader 11.0.10? All I could find out was that DC stands for "Document Cloud", and that just means it gives you access to Adobe's cloud service. But is Reader 11.0.10 just a non-DC version or is it older? I frankly don't need the cloud feature but I would like the most up-to-date version of Adobe Reader...

Could anybody clear this up for me?

Three major Reader versions are still supported by Adobe

  • Reader X; latest version 10.1.15
  • Reader XI; latest version 11.0.12
  • Reader DC; latest version 15.008.20082

    I frankly don't need the cloud feature but I would like the most up-to-date version of Adobe Reader...

    Then go with Reader XI (11).
