when attaching pdf file to e-mail, signatures do not show

Assuming you are using Fill & Sign option for signature, try saving file after placing signature using File>Save, and reopen the file and check if the signature is there.

Could you please confirm which option you are selecting for signature- Fill & Sign or Certificates?

Have you tried with other pdf files?

What is the version of Reader installed on the machine?

To check the version of Reader, launch Reader>navigate to Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader
