When opening PDF, Print comes out Issue - Acrobat Reader I'm inquiring about an error in Acrobat Reader. Every time I open a PDF file, a print set up screen appears, and if I cancel the print, the PDF file completely closes so I cannot read PDF file. I'd like to ask you how to solve it

Hello!

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20474 (Win) | 25.001.20476 (Mac), Apr 28, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

Try with a different PDF file and see if you still get the same print dialog box. Then reset Acrobat's Preferences and restart the computer, and try again. If the issue is specific to one PDF, ensure that there are no embedded script or actions that automatically opens the Print dialog when the file is opened. Open the PDF, go to Menu > Properties > Initial View. Under "Open action", disable any JavaScript or "Print" commands.

Let us know how it goes with the latest version of Acrobat.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
