Why do Acrobat Reader DC creates Chromium folder in Registry

Hey, I am using Acrobat Reader since many years.

Currently I am using Acrobat Reader DC. It's design and performance is the best.

I opened registry and saw that whenever I launch it creates a folder with the name Chromium in

HKEY_CURRENT_ USER/ Softwares/ Chromium/BLBeacon

&

HKEY_USERS/S...(Second Last Folder)/Softwares/Chromium/BLBeacon.

The folders are empty but I am wondering why it is creating a folder with the name Chromium and even it's created in all my freinds PCs, School PCs with Acrobat Reader DC installed and used. I delete it thinking its malicious, but I saw that this folder is present in all PCs around me (In PCs in which I have not connected my pendrive, hard disks, etc) and only gets created when I launch Acrobat Reader DC. I have QuickHeal Total Security Antivirus with latest updates it has not found anything malicious in registry or anywhere.

Is it Legitimate? Created by Adobe Acrobat Reader?

I downloaded this version from the official site by Adobe (Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution)

I am using Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
