Hello Edk,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader DC, are you on a Mac or Windows machine and what is the version?

What is the version of Adobe Reader installed, try checking the version details from Help>About Adobe Reader DC?

Please reboot the machine once and launch Adobe Reader as administrator once. Assuming you are on Windows machine, right-click on Adobe Reader's icon and choose 'Run as Administrator' and see if this brings any difference.

If you are able to launch Adobe Reader, then check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine and check.

If Adobe Reader crashes and you are not able to run it as administrator and not able to check for updates, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove installed Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
