Why does type repeat (copies itself) to the next field?

I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - version 2019.008.20081 (up to date).  When I use the fill in a form to type in on a pdf document the type repeats itself (copies type from one field and puts it into the next field).  If you delete the type in the first or the second field both fields are deleted.  It is like the two fields are connected?  On the form I am typing this is only happening in two of the fields.  All the other fields are working as you would expect.  I have downloaded the pdf as a clean fresh document and get the same results as described herein.  Please let me know what I need to do to correct this.  I love AR DC but this is driving me crazy.

The 2 fields have the same name. It is not an issue of Acrobat Reader.

Don't think this is correct.  I have another place in the same pdf document which has two lines and when you go to the second line to continue your input AR copies the same info you type on the first line into the second line.  I have other two line inputs on the same form that does not act this way.

Then the fields have different names.
