Question
Why I hate ADOBE!!
So it seems that thare are a few misguided individuals that think there is no reasonable reason why to hate Adobe. Mine is quite simple. I'm a Unix only user. Yes that's right we exist. The linux/FreeBSD/Solaris/HPUX... group. So someone sends you a PDF created by Adobe Creator... They have no idea what OS the receipiant will have. Now to open the file I have to fire up a VM that runs Windows simply to read a "Portable Document Format" that originally toted the open anywhere idea... The bloated Free Adobe DC Reader once downloaded takes forever to simply start. Thankfully the document reader eventually loads. I now open the PDF and then immediately print to file. All of a sudden the EXACT same PDF is now readable under Linux. I understand that there are some quite complicated PDF's out there... Sadly though 99% of them are a simple blank form that didn't ever need to be created in Adobe Creator. Any PDF editor could have created it and users could write on top of it... Now I have downloaded the Adobe DC on my ipad, (another Unix FreeBSD clone) and yes again I couldn't open the PDF... So hate Adobe...
