Why is the Excel export tool no longer showing in Acrobat Reader DC ?

I am only 6 months into using Acrobat DC on an annual subscription to export PDFs to Excel. Tonight, the export tools are no longer showing in the pane on the right. Only Comment, Fill & Sign and More Tools are showing. The More Tools selection takes me to a screen with many tools, but none for exporting PDFs to other programs. I have checked for updates, and am using the latest version. I ran the repair tool, but it did not fix this problem. How do I get my tools back?

The problem is fixed. Instead of opening a pdf and getting the above sub-set of the full complement of tools, which is what happened even after I ran the Repair Utility. As a last ditch effort, I opened Acrobat Reader DC from the shortcut icon the Repair Utility had placed on my desktop. Clicking on Tools in the main menu showed that the full set of tools had indeed been restored, including Export PDP.

Now, even after exiting Acrobat, I can open a PDF directly and I get the Export PDF as the default tool in the right-hand pane, with the Convert to drop down menu and its list of applications I can export to, including the one I need 95% of the time; Excel.

Apparently, after running the Repair Utility, you still need to open Acrobat itself to re-engage the repaired tools set so that it can appear when you open Acrobat by clicking on a PDF.
