Why not FREE?

When I try to download the FREE Acrobat Reader I keep being offred a free 7-day trial, agter which I have to pay. WHY?

Please try installing Acrobat Reader DC (freeware) using the direct link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ and see if that works.
