Why when I save a file in Chrome as a PDF it does not open in DC

I tired to get my PDF Saves from Chrome to Open in DC. It opens in regular adobe.

I went to the Adobe App on my phone and it said to click the drop down in the upper right hand corner. I do not have the PLUG IN at the top of the of the Drop Down. Also it doesn't look like the ICON showed on the screen.  Mine is only 3 dots.

    Hi Pamn,

If you have downloaded pdf on an Android /iOS device, try following steps to open pdfs in Acrobat Reader:

1- Under Chrome > tap three-vertical dots in the top-right corner of the screen > Downloads > tap the pdf file you want to view which in result will show you the apps available to open pdf > tap Adobe Acrobat. You may refer to this link how you can locate pdf files on the device: Acrobat Reader Help for Android: Using the Tool Switcher

Acrobat Reader Help for iOS: Help

2- If trying to view pdfs on the desktop machine: click three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the screen in Chrome > Downloads .

Under Downloads, click "show in folder" under file name > right-click > open with and select Adobe Acrobat DC.

As Test Screen Name mentioned above, could you let us know the device you are working on - Android/iOS or Windows or Mac machine?

    Thanks,

    Shivam

Ok,  Chrome on Windows 10.  You say it opens in “regular Adobe” not “DC”. Please explain what you mean by “regular Adobe” .

You trying to do this on Windows, Mac, iPhone or Android? What exactly do you mean by “regular Adobe”?
