Why would I want to export / import trust certificates?

I've been investigating the functionality provided by Adobe Reader DC 2018, and have some questions concerning the list of pre-loaded Trust certificates and

available options for Export and Import as shown on below video link:

I've tried to google the Adobe help base, but couldn't find the suitable and easy-to-understand answers. I would really appreciate if someone knowledgeable enough could brief me on what is the practical purpose for use of preloaded Trust certificates in Adobe with respect to digital signatures that I create. Also what is the purpose of import and export functions in this respect?
