Will I be Blank?

Here is the scenario:

I need a version of Adobe Acrobat Reader that my little Chromebook cannot do.

I have a file that requires it to be opened- and obviously read.

I believe I downloaded the PDF onto my chromebook- it shows it is in my files.

Can I share the file with a device that has the Adobe Acrobat Reader, and if so, will it be Blank- or will the file have magically survived?  Will I be able to read it then?
