Windows 10 in s mode

Why can't I use the Acrobat reader on Windows 10 in s mode. The edition they allow does not let me carry out my work. The only way I can see is to come out of s mode (a one way operation) then there is a whole lot more issues to deal with. Another Microsoft issue ? Any one have a way round this as yet.

    This is by Microsoft's design. The S mode just means you can only use apps from the Microsoft store, which are a different kind of highly secure app. That's what you chose, and what you get...

    Did you look for Adobe Reader Touch in the Microsoft Store? It's obsolete and limited, but made specifically for this world, and may still work for you.
