I updated my Windows 10 on December 7, 2017. Now I cannot open any pdf files. When i boot my computer I am receiving the following error message: AcroRd32 is incompatible. I tried running the compatibility troubleshooter and was unsuccessful. Also, I tried uninstalling Acrobat Reader and then reinstalling. That did not fix the problem either.

AcroRd32 is incompatible.

How do I fix this problem?

    Hi Cynthia,

We apologize for the delay in response.

There shouldn't be any problem running Acrobat Reader DC latest version on Windows 10, as they are compatible.

If you are still experiencing the same issue, then you may try the following steps-

If uninstalling-reinstalling the application did not help, then you may try to repair the installation by Acrobat Reader>Help>Repair Installation.

If that doesn't work then, use the cleaner tool to remove the application completely- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

and install through- Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

    What version of Acrobat Reader?

Version is Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Continuous release version

2018.009.20014. Also, I had to re-install Adobe under Microsoft Windows 8,

rather than Windows 10, to get the pdf I needed to read open.
