After recent Windows 10 updates some PDF files now get rasterized when downloading from the internet. These are editable vector template files from a vendor. They still download properly as editable vector PDF files on a few Windows PCs that haven't got the latest update and from Mac computers so the files source hasn't changed or been edited but rather Windows is vectorizing them when downloading.
Any ideas what may cause this issue?
It could be that you are opening the pdf files in the browser first then saving from there? And if so, is that browser Edge or Chrome?
Neither of those use Adobe Reader to view pdf files. They have their own viewers and yes, they can affect the pdf file in one way or another. The normal suggested route to get around this is, instead of clicking on a link to a pdf to open it, right-click the link, save it to your computer then open it directly in Reader.
