CC Library Panel freezing, unresponsive and stretches on expand?

The CC library panel is not working as it should:

 

1. It freezes and won't allow scroll.

2. When I expand the panel to see more it stretches the entire element including the text vs showing more.

 

Something is definitely broken.

Hi rshapiro,

As previously mentioned by my colleague, we've logged a ticket for this, but to investigate further, could you clarify the reproduction steps? You mentioned "No, it happens immediately when using the library. If I open ID and drop an asset into layout, and then try to scroll the CCL it resizes the window and renders the CCL broken. " Could you attach a video of the steps you are taking here? (People can mean very different things when they refer to assets or layouts, so video is the best way to clearly provide the repro steps.) Thank you!

Hi 👋,
Same problem here. We are a team of 8 graphic designers and we have to quit and relaunch our applications (Illustrator, Indesign) few times per day because of those frozen CC libraries.
That's really annoying because we have a pretty big usage of those CC libraries daily…

A similar thing is happening to my libraries window in illustrator, but it works fine in my indesign. Buttons are nonresponsive and streches with window.

Hi @rshapiro_doximity.

  1. When did you start running into this? Was it after a recent upgrade?
  2. What version of InDesign are you using?
  3. What version of Libraries are you using?
  4. Does it happen intermittently?

Hi Juan, I started running into this issue about a month ago. I don't really use CC Libraries but a new project I'm on used it, so I started to have to use it in my workflow. I'm using the latest, ID 20.5, CCL 4.11.89. No, it happens immediately when using the library. If I open ID and drop an asset into layout, and then try to scroll the CCL it resizes the window and renders the CCL broken. The only way to fix the issue is restart ID, which is a horrendous workflow. I've restarted ID, reinstalled ID, reset the CCL, and nothing works. This is a "bug", as many others have posted.

Got it. Thank you. I tried reproducing the issue, but couldn't. To get more insights into what's going on, please download our log collector, reproduce the issue once more, and then run the collector which should provide an option to send the resulting file to us. Please share the name of the file once you send it. I also wanted to share this link about how we handle your logs.
