I'm not happy with the notifications feature

I'd like to have options like "show all", "mark all as read" and stuff. Also once I click on the icon, the red dot mark disappears, but the messages still remain unread.
The worst thing though, they even remain unread, even though I already opened the file and replied or marked as resolved.
