Agreed, we need a way of permanently disabling CC Libraries for all apps in the suite. As in, never try to save an asset to the CC Library ever again, for any app, even after updating. And never ever, as in... never ever again.

Also see this two page thread from 2015, as well as countless blogs, posts and redits etc: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/how-to-permanently-disable-libraries-cc/m-p/7275656

Can we just disable it once and never have it pop up in any app ever again?

I agree, how annoying. Fairly sure they want it to fill up so we buy more drive space.

Here is an idea. Don't place assets into libraries. Some of us don't use them. I have no idea how they got there and it was a pain in the butt to delete all the libraries. Image if libraries were connected to a shared library or something ... my NDA might just catch fire ...

Stop automatically loading the library panel. It's pretty easy to make it go away, but it loads slowly and changes the workspace and is generally irritating. It should be simple to load when needed, but having it automatically show up and populate, while indeed "neat," is kind of a hassle.
