No tools working, cannot edit

I can open illustrator and open new documents, old documents, etc. but every time I try to use any tools or click on anything that I’m working on.... it doesn’t work. I can even change tools and colors of text, etc. but when I try to apply it to the art board, nothing happens. I am at a loss. I have uninstalled and re-installed multiple times, turned my iPad off and on again and then uninstalled/re-installed, I have left it off for a few days, let it charge fully, nothing.

Illustrator is completely up to date at version 1.3 for iPad. My iPad is 8th gen. I am losing money and losing clients. Every time I call Adobe support they say “let me look into it” and then I get put on hold for 15+ minutes with no answer. It has been like this since 5/26/21
