How do I check and modify Acrobat DC update settings?

I just installed Acrobat DC reader after a hiatus of several years from Acrobat products. So far, I like what I see. I did look in the preferences for update settings, but I didn't see anything. Is there a way to see what the default update settings are, and to modify them?

DC is sort of the version number, so we have Acrobat Reader DC (free), Acrobat Standard DC and Acrobat Pro DC (paid for), and Acrobat DC (meaning either Standard or Pro, but not Reader).

Reader DC is set up to update automatically and without asking, so it is always up to date. Doesn't seem to be an option, I think that Adobe really don't want to give people the choice of ignoring vital security fixes.

Hello btnymu

You can go to Edit>>Preferences, Here you need to select Update under categories and you will be able to see an option to modify your Acrobat's Update settings

Thanks. I forgot to say that I don't have the Pro version. There is no "Updater" category. I thought DC was their free product. Anyways, I am on the free DC reader. No updater category.

Is it tucked away somewhere else?
