Hello, I would like to integrate Acrobat Reader support into my company's project, in order to be able to disassemble the pdf documents on the elements. I downloaded the TRIAL version Acrobat Reader Pro and added Acrobat.dll to my project(.net). After I read the documentation in the Adobe SDK, I could not get XObject page. can any help me please,I do have a PDF form with a phone number in it and my client wants the phone number to be clickable and to pop-up a (vcard)to "save contact" I have found a way to open the phone number -by clicking on it-  shows on the caller dialing screen to make a call but it is not enough, I need it to open save as contact with all contact details (number, name, address, mail ....etc)Thanks a lot

I reviewed this tutorial: https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/change_another_field  and it works great, but I need to create 15 more drop downs to do the same thing. How do I do this? The example in the above link only shows how to create once instance.

Hello,Is there a possibility in Acrobat to add a field with a random number, which will change for each printed copy of a document. it would be perfect if such number could be then displayed as a 1D barcode.In other words, if I have a booklet of 6 pages on each page at the bottom a random number/barcode would be printed, but if user prints 10 copies each copy would have a unique number.Many thanks for any suggestions.

Hello,I am not a coder but I am trying to find out how can I make a form so that when one value is selected in "column A" it will automatically populate a certain value in "column C. Please see attached image. There are two options to choose from in each of the columns, so:If "option 1" is selected in column A, then "value A" will populate in column C; orIf "option 2" is selected in column A, then "value B" will populate in column CThanks ahead for any assistance!

In our workflow for pre-press, we get a lot of documents that we need to optimize, and very often something that gets in the way are lines with empty text. Usually it's just a space or a hard return, no other characters are in the text field. It tends to throw off the whole page when we try to automatically scale it because the page is using that empty text box when it scales and the text is in a weird spot. If we could remove these sorts of text boxes, that would be amazing. Seems like a simple script should do the trick. Any help appreciated.

Super confused here.So I'm making a series of forms for people to fill out that use various Javascript to enable/disable fields, change colors, etc.Some people are on 'secure' computers and need to actively enable Javascript. On most of the forms, the yellow bar appears at the top with the message about enabling Javascript. When that appears and they enable it, everything works fine.However, for some forms, and with some people, this doesn't happen. No prompt appears at all, so no scripts can run. It just doesn't give the option at all, even when other forms do.Everyone is using the same version of Acrobat Reader DC as far as I can tell.What could I be overlooking? Could it be a setting on the user's computer? Why would it only effect certain files?

Hi together,I have a PDF-Form and there some objects become visible or invisible with checkboxes. This works very fine and is not so hard to realise. But after I make a object (e.g. a picture form element) visible I want to move the object with a drag-and-drop-function.Is this possible with JavaScript in Acrobat DC?Thanks for your helpThorsten

I have a Adobe acrobat questionaire which has different scores dependant on which of the 6 check boxes is checked I have set each individual score in a hidden text box which is made visible when the corresponding check box is selected. This works fine except I can't get only the visible score to show in a total field. It also calculates the hidden amounts. Not sure if this combination of requirements is possible.  I have a date field that automatically updates for a form and cannot be edited.I want this date field to lock the date in place based on a digital signature block.  I saw a post here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2302655?q=Lock%20date but this is based on saving the document.The date field is named  "MyDateField".Is this possible?Thanks in advance.JT

I've written a simple script, but cannot seems to figure out why am I experiencing a delay in the toggle of the message.I have a textbox that sum's up values selected on 3 drop down lists. All have been formatted as numbers. The sum works just fine.I have another textbox that stores the above total and I have added a script to display a message if the value if greater than 100 or less than 100.The message displays after a lag. Is there a way with Javascript to invoke  this.exportAsXFDF({cPath:(\C\Test\Test.XFDF), bAnnotations:true});  just after a measurement is finished? So the info is added to the file at that moment. I am trying to make a PDF for school fees automatically calculate when the user enters the number of children in each department (P, H or N). I thought I had the code figured out, but I am getting an error message stating "missing ; before statement 3: at line 4" and it highlights the line I made red. I tried adding a ; at the beginning of that statement, but the error message did not change. I have a field in which I need to sum the numbers in 2 other fields and the results of an optional radio button list. It worked fine when I used Acrobat's built in Value is the option to sum the 3. However, I want the filed to remain blank instead of displaying zero when the form is blank (so Luddites can print it and complete it by hand), so I switched to custom calculation. I got a result of "600off" when no radio button was checked. I tried the below script to substitute zero for "off" when no radio button is checked, but am getting a syntax error at the zero. I tried putting the zero in quotes to no avail. This form is my first foray into javascript and I clearly only know enough to be dangerous. I want to allow users to enter the time in whatever form they want (as long as it's at least 3 digits {e.g. 0800, 800, 8:00, 0925}) and have the time displayed using the h:MM format when they finish.  I've not been able to find an example of an OR statement that will allow something like this.  Any help is appreciated.
