I'm trying to create a `setInterval` that fires every 5 ms while the mouse is pressed on a button.Strangely, while other code in the Mouse Down event fires, the setInterval doesn't fire until the event is over. It then fires during the Mouse Exit or Mouse Up event, which is too late.Why is that? And how can I get the desired behavior?I looked in the SDK documentation and found a onMouseHit event which sounds more like what I'm looking for. But I don't know how to trigger this event from a form button.

I am incredibly green with JS, maybe a week into learning; please ELIM5.  I have created a form that will highlight a field based on its value.  The issue I am having is during validation.  I am attempting to populate a window to remind the end user to check for restrictions.  I have read the tutorial and created a code based on the information provided; however, I am still unable to get it to run correctly.  I have provided both versions for reference.  The first code populates an alert anytime the cell is changed, and I understand why based on the coding.  The following code is my attempt at only having the warning populate based on fill color.  Both versions are forcing the alert incorrectly or not at all.  I previously had the app.alert in the format code (provided as struck in the first "if" case) but was unable to get the oCK to operate, which is a must for the end user.  Thank you in advance for any assistance!Format code:var mf

Hi,I'm trying to build an advance form that allows in-company ordering of products. The difficulty for most employees is to select the correct 'booking code' properly: which budget and which cost category.For example: rubber stamps (part of the range of the office supply products) must be booked on B001(budget number) and 1234 (cost category). Short: B001.1234. Second example: pencils (again part of the  office supply products) must be booked on B001.1235. This product range is pretty large.Our source for the correct booking codes is an Excel sheet: column 1 contains product names, column 2 the main category, column 3 the sub-category and column 4 the correct booking code. Examplerubber_stamps; office supplies;postal needs;B001.1234pencils; office supplies;statiorary;B001.1235etc.The idea is to present employees with 3 pull down menu's: main category, subcategory and product.For maintenance and update purposes, it would be great to import data into the form/these pull down menu's

Hi,I am looking for a way to print or extract only those pages within a doc that contain a search term; what would be the search result set I suppose.  Right now I have to note every page a term(s) is/are on and then go back and extract or print.  Anyone have this issue before?TIA,-mark

Good Morning/Afternoon!I am trying to set up a calculation on a form that is based of an "if/Else" format.  The calculation in words would look something like this:Skill Calculation: If “Trained Skill 1”>0;“bonus 1 = “Dex Mod” + “Trained Skill 1” + “Skill Misc Mod 1” + “Addtl Misc Mod 1” Else“bonus 1” = 0If it were in excel it would look like this as far as format and expected outcome:As you can see from the Excel snip, Row 2 shows that C1 ("Trained Skill 1") has a 1 in the column.  As a result, the sum of B2 ("Ability Mod"), C2 ("Trained Skill 1"), D2 ("Skill Misc Mod 1"), and E2 ("Addtl Misc Mod 1") is calculated and placed in A1 ("Bonus 1")Conversely, Row 3 shows that C2 ( "Trained Skill 1") has a 0 in the column.  As a result, the sum of B2 ("Ability Mod"), C2 ("Trained Skill 1"), D2 ("Skill Misc Mod 1"), and E2 ("Addtl Misc Mod 1") is NOT calculated and a 0 is placed in B1 ("Bonus 1")Can anyone help me create a javascript formula depicting this action? &nbsp

My Acrobat Pro DC form contains radio buttons. When I select them in preview, they stay selected, leaving me a form that will not allow users the option for selecting them. How to save the form with buttons unselected? Also, how do I de-select them, so that I may share the form?

Hi all!I am trying to build a form where the user can input data into several rows of fields. Once they are done, they can click a button at the bottom of the page which spawns a state form that is filled out with the data from the first page.The data on the first page is grouped, meaning that I won't necessarily have all the info in consecutive order. For example, I might have Rows 1, 2, 5, and 7 filled out on page one, which need to be translated to Rows 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the spawned page.I have written a function for this, but I want to add one more feature that I need help with. Right now, the function only works properly if ALL fields in a row have a value. If one of them is blank, it throws off the rest of the sheet. I have a dropdown list "Dropdown1" with some values that show the relative content, for example:- value = 0 shows " "- value = 1 shows "abc"- value = 2 shows "def"- value = 3 shows "ghi"Now, I have a text field "Text1". I would like that when I select a value in the list, this populates the text field with the same content. Hello , I have the following problem , I wonder , how can I connect annotation to the selected box , I need the following functionality : I create pdf with embedded 3d annotation and then I select the region(area)  in the pdf doc where annotation should be added. I have several groups of radio buttons. If I select the second button of the group (value 2), this selection add “1” to the content of a text field. So, for example, if I select the second value of four radio button groups, the text field shows “4”. How can I do this? Thank you so much

Hi again, everyone. I'm having an issue with SaveAs and the bPromptToOverwrite parameter. The pastebin link to my code will be below. For some reason, it just won't prompt me to overwrite if the file already exists. I am calling the folder level script linked below through a mouse up event on a form button, if that makes any difference.I believe I have the line of code right seeing as the save event still happens without errors, but the dang prompt just won't show up. I have a drop down with 4 items. Actually this dropdown has a selection of business owners. Is this possible if we select 1 from drop down only one line is editable and if we do 2 then two lines editable? The second case, is this possible when I choose 1 then only one field is displayed?

Hello,I work in compliance and often need to interview households with multiple adults. Data such as Name and DOB must be written multiple times on a multipage package that we use at work. I would like to create a PDF document that automatically completes the package with information/data completed on the first page. I'm not sure which adobe product I would need or how to accomplish my goal. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

I'm using the following code as an action to spawn a hidden page template using a checkbox. The JavaScript works, but the issue is that each time I click the check box (check/uncheck) it will spawn a new page. I would like to toggle the checkbox to spawn the template (check) or delete the page (uncheck).  Please note, this will be installed on machines that use Acrobat Reader, though the spawn functionality seems to work just fine. I am not familiar with JavaScript and just need it for one application. I have a fill able form that i created.The Cells used are the following:Grossamount (manual entry),2% (=Grossamount*0.02),SlipFee (manual entry)The cell i am having trouble with is for the Additional Amount due.Additional Amount due should be 2% - SlipFee. If the result is negative it should calculate Zero.For Excel the equation is: =MAX(0,I24-I26) and it works perfectly fine, but i am having issues with that in my pdf file.

Is there a script to calculate a percentage for score achieved out of total score?  Thank you.
